Refers to drinking order... supposedly you should drink hard liquor (vodka, rum, gin, tequila) before beer and malt beverages in order to avoid a hangover. Beer before liquor, never been sicker. Liquor before beer, you're in the clear.

(Personally, I've never found this to be all that true.)

beer before liquor never sicker means that if you drink beer before the hard stuff you will be puking in the morning:)LOL

the other part is

it means if you drink beer and you switch to liquor you will get sick and puke. if you drink liquor and then switch to beer you'll be ok.

it's because liquor does not absorb anything. if your stomach is full of liquor & you drink beer, it sits on top of the liquor. you may eventually throw it up
