I hope I don't hear the crickets chirping this time...

I do believe it is unethical and not moral..I think it desensitizes people into not seeing the true beauty of sex and togetherness and is grotesque not beautiful in nature. I have no problems with sex and what goes on behind closed doors..I just believe that some people have made sex into a freak show and shallow. I have no respect for it or the people who work there or use it. My two cents...

Actually yes, as a Christian I stay away from strip clubs and porn. I'm not saying that I'm not tempted to do these things, in fact I used to watch porn before I knew that it was wrong. In fact even for a while when I knew it was wrong, I still watched it sometimes. I'm not perfect by any means. But I have actually noticed that by not being involved in these activites, the quality of my relationships with girls has increased a lot. If you want a guy who agrees with me, you will probably be dating a strong Christian or a freak... that's up to you. All girls deserve someone who is satisfied sexually with just one girl, because he loves her THAT much. Most guys probably think I'm crazy by the way.

Actually, there's lots of doubt it's immoral. Most of the ethical concerns about porn center around the infantilization of women ie. that they can't make their own choices without being exploited by men. Otherwise, it's just sexphobia, or general discomfort about the body. The majority of the ills that are cited when arguing against porn stem less from porn itself than the marginalized way people deal with sex in this country, and pretty much the rest of the world, too. Which isn't to say there isn't a problem with drugs or exploitation or disease in the industry, but they're not inherent.

Incidentally, the adult film industry eclipses the mainstream film industry in terms of annual profit. Which doesn't make it good in itself, but it's hard to believe something that widespread causes all the problems that anti-porn folks claim. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a single person on the planet that wasn't a perverted drug-addicted criminal. And there's no basis for the notion that looking at porn causes a loss of interest in other people. There are porn addicts just as there are gambling addicts just as there are caffeine addicts, drug addicts, alcohol addicts, internet addicts, any behavior can be habit-forming, but that doesn't make the behavior the cause.

A person may be moral, or not moral , or unethical. The strip club and porno is just something that exists. Good Luck ! :)

I've gotta admit, although I'm a guy, I really don't see the point in stripclubs or porno. People who look at it too long can eventually lose interest in actual people and become only interested in anime porn. So, no I really don't see a point in it.

i think that watching porn solely as a masturbation tool is perfectly fine. however I find going to stip clubs and staring at women dance seductively is not only trashy but unethical and immoral.
