False, don't confuse capitalism with free enterprise.

Capitalism is a form of usury but on a grand scale, and cannot succeed without a great deal of governmental interference in the economy. It ultimately leads to fascism where government and business fuse.

Lack of government interference id free enterprise, and capitalists are not in favor of it any more than socialism.

Many people confuse free enterprise with capitalism, a confusion that is strongly encouraged by the current system.

Let me add that all political systems eventually fail. Democracy, Republics, Communism, Socialism, Monarchies, everything mankind has thought up in order to govern has eventually come to an end, somewhere. Capitalism as an economic system has the flaw that when it goes bad, the common man has a hard time telling what has caused him to suffer. He keeps thinking, if I work enough, I will also be rich. Now his wife has to go to work, too, or the mortgage couldn't be paid, even though he has cut corners on everything. The prosperity of the 1950's has given way to the desperation and poverty of the 21st Century. At the end of Capitalism, the rich are the only ones getting richer. In the past 25 years in America, the bottom 90% of Americans saw their incomes fall by thousands of dollars, while the richest 1% saw their incomes increase by 384%. So that means maybe 10% of the American people participated in "the American Dream." For about ten years I worked in a company that dealt with big business, and I guarantee the rich are trying to outsource American jobs to avoid paying a living wage to workers. They are also cutting jobs and then demanding that the remaining workers do the work of three people, or risk being fired. They do not care about our environment, they buy members of Congress, and they step on citizens with a heavy boot.

True but you will be under the control of corporations and we would not have much government oversight to protect us from the corporations labor practices, wages and safety. You need to understand that the government is here to protect us from evil corporations. We are the government "We the People" if you don`t like it get politely active and help remove the bad apple. The government is not some boogie man.

That is true. True capitalism means that there is the ability to have unlimited competition for the same market and the government does not interfere on this.
