I heard that when you subscribe to it and want to stop using it they keep trying to make you pay every month.

I've been using Proactiv for about seven years. It works very well for me. I've had great communication from their customer service whenever I had a problem.

I used ProActive and got okay results. I followed instructions, and it got rid of MOST zits. After about a week though, my face became chaffed and began burning, making it impossible to sweat or wash it without pain. I would not recommend it if you have very sensitive skin. Look in to acne medicines that you take as a pill. They are often twice as effective as ProActive.
