WE play a Indie/Folk/Pop/Rock. We also do some Christian music. So, whatchu think? My second choice would be ZEAL, and my third choice would be LifeCircle. Put down suggestions if you have any.

P.S. Is Hopeland a rip off from Copeland? THis one guy told me it is , only I didn't even know about Copeland until he told me about it. I think the two names have totally different meanings, but are they too similar?

I don't think that they are to similar cope means to deal with and hope means to wish. I think all the names that you are thinking about are great because #1 i haven't heard them before #2 they have a nice sound to them. about the Copeland part i haven't heard of it but i researched it to see. apparently Copeland is real and it seems that it's pretty popular it's your choice to decide what you want to name your band but I think that all the names that you have chosen rule!

I like the name, but yes, it is too close to "Copeland" and that could be awkward while they are so popular. I like the incorportation of "Hope" in the name though. What about some type of fusion of the ideas? Hope & Zeal, Life*Hope*Circle? Sounds like a good mix of music, best of luck to you. Post on Pure Volume or YouTube when you get up and running.

I was gonna say it was a rip off of Copeland, but I don't think it is a bad name at all. I don't think it would be that bad if you named your band that.

P. S. I was listening to Copeland when I read this question.

NOT COOL!!! dont use hopeland...the guy who told you that it was ripped off..hes right..you could have used different names...like INdFRock...(its like Indie Folk Rock)...yeah dont listen to me..i have my own band named Lavuyo..here in philippines its a name for a red hot chili(we changed the real spelling its Labuyo)..we named our band Lavuyo because we think that we are very hot and that gurls will like ud because we play rock music...name your band according to what you think suits your band..you could still get different band names by talking to your bandmates and other band members..

I like Zeal the most. Hopeland reminds me of Bob Hope.

hopeland is fine, just too unoriginal. its not a name that would stick in someones head easily. i mean there have been times when i hear a catchy song but dont remember the bands name because it was something dull.

use something flambouyant. for zeal, try Zealestte??? or maybe something like... CatchHopeRapid? i may be giving horrible examples, but surely you get the point...

The band Sigur Ros sometimes sing in an invented languague called Hopelandish - their untitled album, otherwise known as ( ) is sang entirely in this.

I think it's a good name. It sounds like a positive name for a band and it doesn't seem like a rip off to me.
