That's easy. Weapons are used to hurt. Women who do so want to hurt their ex's. In some cases it is because they are hurt. In other cases it is because they hate their ex's. The other use of weapons is defensive. In the case of hurt, a woman might use her weapons thinking that she is defending herself and preventing further hurt. That is not true in relationships, but some women think that.
Either way, that is a crude form of neglect regarding the children's interests. It is not usually done to hurt the child, but that is the result.

People like this care more about their own pain than the stress they may be causing their children. They are insecure, immature and extremely selfish. They think by using the kids as weapons they can hurt the man, but they actually harm the kids much more than they could possibly hurt their ex. Women like this are toxic parents whose behavior can permanently scar their little ones both mentally and emotionally.

Hmm, the question i'd be asking is why do men use there children as weapons? I was more than happy to have the father of my child come over whenever he liked, aslong as i got a phone call before hand. He wasnt happy with that because he couldnt have me, so he threatened to lie to get his way in court and threatened to take my son so i would never see him again....

I don't know, but they do. They are so emotionally involved with each other that they forget the kid's are hurting too. They let their anger for one another become so strong at the time they just don't seem to care. They just want to hurt and get even and the kid's are their best tool.

Because they want allies in what they perceive as a fight and where they have power. It's a shame but true, they often do this and the kids go with where their security lies. Not fair. They also do it, I believe, because it helps convince them that they are right in the battle and their ex is wrong.

They are bitter. I am glad to share custody with my ex. That gives me and my current spouse much needed time alone. It also gives the children double the love. I do not believe in child support. I think joint custody is most often the best.

I wish I could answer that, it is just human nature and it is so sad. Kids get hurt so much in divorces and separations, it is a very sad way to get even with your ex.

This isn't a gender biased issue. Men do it as well.

It's all about control and revenge. Hopefully some day a law will be passed that will consider this behavior as child abuse because this is exactly what it is.

Because they are young and immature and don't realize or don't care that the only ones being hurt are the children in the long run.
