I hope it's not your boss??? wish I had some more info on this... are you better looking than they are or do a better job??? what I'm saying is... do you think they're jealous??? Me personally... I would confront them... and plainly ask them what their problem is... bring up a few instances of when you felt "miserable" and specify what they were doing... of course they'll come back with "they don't know what you're talking about"... Tell them you are here to do your job... and your not here to play games or be anyones doormat... and if there is a co-worker that you trust... have them watch your back to wittiness this acts of torture... and you can go to management and ask them to just observe the two of you discretely.. and also you can go and get another job... which would probably easier... now I've wrote all this I really think the new job is the best idea...good luck!!!

Have you tried ignoring her? Minimize contact with her as much as you can. If she thinks she can ring your chimes, she will. Try to remain as calm and placid as you possibly can, unless she is outright rude or uncouth, in which case, you should dish it right back and give her a taste of her own medicine. Its a difficult question to answer because there are so many unknowns like do you work in a small office, do you sit in separate cubes or in the same room, side by side, what exactly does she do to make you miserable? Just tell her to shut her pie hole the next time she pisses you off.

I believe that if you ignore you co-worker for a while, you maybe able to make him/her very miserable too. Most people does not like to be ignored, therefore, their behavior may change. I hope this work.

Always smile and tell them thank you no matter weather they have done something nice or nasty. Invite them to lunch or for drinks after work. Tell them that you are praying for them. Kill them with kindness. Even if they don't change others will notice how great you are and what a b the co-worker is.

If you let them make you miserable, then they win. Just try to ignore them. I've had this problem in the past and I foud that the people who were mean to me had problems in their personal lives. The only time they had any power was at work, so they abused it.

Just keep your chin up. I wish you luck!!

Arrive at work early. Position yourself under his/her desk where you can't be seen. When the person gets settled in for work, raise the pant leg and gently lick his/her leg. When the person jumps up in shock, roll out from under the desk and fake a seizure. Tell your boss that the coworker hit you in the back of the head and caused the seizure.

wow that really sucks for you... just tell your boss about it (in a professional tone of course) and just ignore that co worker (if you can) or if you are forced to work with that person, just treat them with politeness, and wait until your boss acts, and if my advice doesnt work, write to dear abby... lol

Just try to ignore them, they are miserable and want everyone else to feel that way.

Ignore them. One day you won't care anymore. If you do something to them and someone finds out, it will make you look really petty.
