Hi
I would do nothing unless you want to call teh doctor for yourown peace of mind.
I would NOT give any type of cold medicine even if its infant.. it can contribute to Ear infections after the cold is gone...
You may want to elevate its head a bit more when feeding for its own comfort and to help keep fluid from heading into those ears.
I would not give tylenol either . You said there was no fever. Check the Temp about 8pm. Oftent here will be no fever during teh day but you may see one at night...
FOr A low grade fever , under 100F I do not recommend tylenol.. the fever helps the body fight the virus.. for a baby your age if its over the 100F nad he or she seems uncomfortable give tylenol.. If over 101F call Doctor.
Relax.. every child has to get that first cold... and its helping build that immune system...
Keep an eye on him or her and trust your instincts.
Good Luck

I know what you are going through. My 11 month old is currently suffering from a whopping cold. I do not suggest using any meds for your baby, he is too young for that. The best thing to do is give him plenty of fluids, elevate his head as much as possible, use a humidifier, use saline drops and syphon the nose, and try to rest when he does. The nights can be very long when you have a sick baby. Keep breastfeeding because you will be giving him antibodies to help fight off this thing. If it sounds like he has mucous in his chest or a deep barking cough you may want to turn on the hot water in the shower and after the bathroom is very steamy, sit with your baby in the bathroom for 10 minutes. You should get in touch with your doctor as well to make sure that this is nothing more than a cold.

This is common since the baby is so small. Breast feeding is the VERY best thing you can do for him. Good for You :). If there's no fever, good, just get the baby some cold meds over the counter to help ease the symptoms. You really just have to let it run it's course. Get some Johnson's Vapor Bath and bathe the baby in warm water. The vapors will help the baby feel better, and the bath will help the baby rest better. Just let the baby play in the water if it feels like it. Since it's Johnson's it's "No More Tears".
You'll do fine.

i take care of a 10 month old baby. he was starting to get a cold, runny nose, etc. and i got an herbal baby tincture(from health food store, about $8.00) made from glycerin that had echinacea and oregon grape root in it and he got better by the next day. for a baby that is already sick it will take a little longer but it will boost their immune system and then they will be able to fight the infection better.
good luck:)

Get some baby tylenol sinus.
This is natural, just keep baby warm, warm fluids,
If the child gets earache, take to doctor for antibiotics.
Just sing and rub the childs back to comfort the baby.

Call his doctor and let him know so he can give you some ideas on what your baby can take. If he does get a fever take him to the ER. Good Luck, hope your baby feels better.

whats up there, I truthfully have a 6 month previous toddler boy and he had his 1st chilly at approximately 3 months. His milk intake did drop too - yet thats purely the way it is going. All you're able to do is shop attempting - you are able to attempt her with some cooled boiled water -or if she is something like my son who doesnt like water, purely attempt including a small drop of sparkling apple juice into it. notwithstanding if she takes somewhat, it rather is going to be ok. you will tell if she is getting de-hydrated by ability of checking the comfortable spot on the right of her head. If it starts to sink in, i could take her to the docs. As for the chilly, in case you need to purchase a Karvol plug in and leave it on in the process the night - that helps. additionally "snuffle babe" rubbed on her decrease back and chest will help. If she is in her moses basket nonetheless, prop it up on the right end with some books. If she is in a cot - attempt putting some thing below the top end of her matress to tilt her somewhat in the process the night. additionally nasal aspirators are sturdy to sparkling the nostril if she is bunged up - as they cant precisely blow their own noses yet. Sorry i cant be of to any extent further help - yet purely undergo along with her and it would quickly pass. purely shop a particular eye and if she is any worse then identity pass right this moment to my wide-unfold practitioner. in case you like anymore information you are able to desire to ring nhs helpline.

You can take him to the Doctor but they are probably going to say there is nothing they can do and take him home and give him Tylenol.
If your breastfeeding then your antibodies are in him. He will be fine!

I think you should call his pediatrician. It's common for babies to get colds, and your doctor will have some tips to help it.
