im goin tomorow to tell them what i want on my license plate but what do i have to have on it? like how many letters can i have and do i have to have a number?

peronalized tags can have any number of letters or numbers or just letters as long as nothin deemed offensive is on it

We don't know where you are.
It will vary from state to state.
Here you can have 6 digits, unless they recently went to 7.
No duplicates, you can't have the same as another.
BUT, you can have the same number/letter combination on a different classification of plate. Meaning you can have a Commercial plate and a regular plate that say the same thing.
Motorcycle plates are 5 digits, except Veteran's plates are 4, to leave room for the flag.

Check with your Department of Motor Vehicles, or whatever it's called in your state.

My mom is A regional Manager of the BMV you can have A total of 7 letters or #s.No profanity & no duplicates wich means you cant get A plate that someone else has.GOOD LUCK

The combinations of numbers/letters vary from state to state and how much money you want to spend. They should have brochures on this and most states' info is on the Internet.

Depends on what state you are in, my dear. In Wisconsin is 7 characters...
