June Tailor makes photo transfer sheets for inkjet printers. You just print the picture from the computer to the paper and press it on to the fabric. You shouldn't put the pic on after the quilt has been quilted though. I tried that once and it didn't work out too well. The transfers I have came from the craft department at Wal-mart. Good luck. P~

The iron on transfer paper is NOT a good choice for a quilt, because it doesn't hold up over time. Your better choice would be to use a fabric that is treated and backed so it can be put directly through your inkjet printer. There are several brands, most of which are available at your local sewing/craft store. Read the packaging before buying to be sure it meets your needs. Some need to be heat set, some are not washable. There are several links below, along with reviews from users.

You have to have special fabric transfer paper. And when the picture is printed on the paper, the picture has to be reversed, or when it is ironed onto the fabric, it will be backwards and the faces won't look right.
Fabric stores sometimes sell this paper. They should be able to tell you how to do it.
