I am going to have a mammogram done on Monday and someone (not a medical professional) told me that you can't smoke for 48 hours before the mammogram, but no one at the doctors office mentioned this, is it true?

No.I never head of this. But don't use any lotions or antiperspirants/deodorants the day of your test

Relax, it's not true. Smoking has no effect on your x-ray.

(You oughta quit anyway, though.)
