Don't know why you are asking, but yes I do. It is a very educational game as well as being very challenging.

No, there are much better "designer" board games these days. Most of them are from German designers, and aren't very well known. They are better than Monopoly because:
A) They last only an hour on average
B) No one is eliminated from the game
C) Less random and have many interesting decisions.
D) Don't require you to grind your kids into the ground to win ;)
Some excellent introductory games are:
Ticket To Ride
Carcassonne (especially if you like puzzles)
Vegas Showdown

Unfortunately it seems like a lot of people do. I guess they're just not familiar with the type of games Habes is talking about (which I agree are much better) because those games are not mass-marketed in the U.S.
