approaching the light, the Doppler effect caused a blue shift that made the light appear green λ=5000 A. How fast would you have had to be moving for that to be true? Would the judge be justified in giving you a speeding ticket? Explain your way out of going to jail.

You get a speeding ticket because your speed would have to be 30% the speed of light, which is about 200 million miles per hour!

Nice, perjury on top of it all.
In many places the perjury will get you jail time, running the red light will get you a fine.
Quit making excuses and quit running red lights!
I've been almost run over several times by people who refuse to pay attention while driving.
It should be a felony!

Wouldn't you have to be moving near the speed of Light for there To be the "Blue Effect"? and even so with light Blue and Yellow make green not blue and red

You would go to jail for perjury as you cannot travel that fast in a car.

And in the UK, perjury carries a sentance of upto life in prison.

Which would you prefer??

I closed my eyes when I blinked my eyes and missed the light because it was green and I missed the Yellow.
