You are very young or very niieve...and do not confuse Communism with Socialism! Communision is a totalitarian government where 99% of your freedoms are gone, you are told were to work, how many kids you can have, how much money you can make, where you can live, you are given a social classification and you cannot speak your mind...unless it is ion favor of the facists running things...basically you are a slave, you cannot travel, you may not get higher education if you are in a lower classification and the list goes on and on!!! So YES, it is a very bad thing...Everything about YOU is regulated...what you eat, what you wear...forget those great looking jeans and cute tops...look to your future in a drab sheet made into something uncivilized looking...It seems YOU are the IGNORANT one...if you like Communism, go live in Russia or China...

Communism was originally focused in Russia. Stallin was threatening for a nuclear war and because they were all communist and America did not like communism we kinda adopted the hatred of comunism. Communism is however where instead of working for different wages everyone gets paid the same no matter what and everyone is treated the same. America could just as easily fall into communism if it appealed to enough people. Scary huh?

That depends on the leaders.
To the US side, it's bad. Cuz in the Cold War, US government hated it, so the people followed.
To the USR side, it's good. Cuz most Communism countries like VN or Cuba under that regime fought against alotta invaders.
Actually, there was never been a true communism country.

communisn looks great in the classroom and in doctrine but, because of human nature it fails miserably in reality. Ever look into the lives of some of the founding fathers of communism, what do they all have in common? Genocide? Oppression? Dictatorship?suppresion of challengers, thoughts by mysterious disappearance of rivals. Sounds great right? Reality is communism simply doesn't work.

no i'm not that ignorant and i don't think you have ever been to a comunist country before. i like my freedom and the priviledge of choosing my own way of life and i also like to be able to think and act for myself. now if you are lazy have no ambition and just plain don't give a damn about life comunism is your way to go pal. have at it. but do not call the americans ignorant because we do not like to be told every detail i n our life and when to do it. hell here we even choose and buile our own houses and pick our own mates to be married to. can you claim all of this in a comunist country??? you bet your life you can't and i know it first hand .

Communism is a great idea, but it hasn't worked anywhere that I am aware of. Potentially it could be the answer for all governments. But absolute power corrupts absolutely.
