I get them too, it's "ghost" files in the stuff you download that prevents popup blocker from blocking. A ghost file is a sercret and undetectable file in another file that gets in your computer and the only way to get rid of it is to find the file you downloaded tht contained it. It can also be from the sites you do allow pop ups on like Yahoo. music when you wanna watch a video you have to press CTRL to allow it or press "allow pop-ups from this site" and this allows that site to pop-up advertisments and other things like that. If you dont want any more pop-ups you might have to get advanced sercurity for you computer even if you have firewall.

Pop-up blockers are included in many program, you might not turn all of them off as you thought. For example, in google toolbar, yahoo toolbar, internet explorer itself ( add-on in firefox), from anti-virus software, and so on.

presume you are referring to
the web browser pop up blocker.
Firewall program like ZoneAlarm
or adblock in FireFOx browser
can also block pop ups.
Pressing CTRL key mostly
will show the pop ups.

because there are new ones and u cant do anything about it unless u clikck them off but missed one or didnt do it fast enough
