My boyfriend's best friend has been kicked out of his share-house for being a slob. Now he's living in our spare room. He smells terrible, and I can't be in the same room with him without gagging. He doesn't work, and is always bitching at me to lend him money. But he's had such a hard life, I feel so sorry for him. I've asked my boyfriend 6 times to get him to leave. I don't want to seem like a *****, but we just moved in together.

you need to tell your boyfriend....that you are a understanding person, and that you strongly understand the difficult situation his friend is in.....but tell him that you don't like the situation that your in either and that you would like for him to leave, tell him that your tired of reapeating yourself...too bad if you sound like a *****.... however they shoudnt take it that way....they need to respect your feelings....especially your boyfriend....but the one thing you need to do is stop feeling sorry for somebody who doesnt want to do anything for themselves....he so used to living off ppl that it's practically normal behavior to him..why should you suffer behind someone who could care less.....you need to put your foot down and mean it!....you do deserve your own space...good luck!

You should atleast let him live with you for a 2 month time period TOPS. BEfore the 2 month time period is up off news papers with work ads in there for him to get back on his feet and managing his own life isntead of depending on his friend and his friends girlfriends money. I mean, what kind of man is that? If he's been there for a logner time period, sooner or later yo uare going to snap and drive him out of the house as well as make your boyfriend angry. You should try to do as much as you cna to get this guy back on his feet and out of your guest room. But be careful to not let this lead you and your boyfriend into occasional fightign and bickering, you should show him that you understand and you want to help his friend out. And you have to let him know honestly that when the tiem has coem for his friend to leave, he must go. He can't freeload off you two forever. Hope that helps!

Not to be upstaged by Dr. Phil, but what were you think-in? This situation should have never had been aloud to happen in the first place. This answer is more to your boyfriend than you... Ask your boyfriend which one he preferred to sleep with? his smelly lazy friend or you and stand true to what you say, if he picks him, then you have your own answer to this question.

Move out and tell your bf that you will be back when his friend is gone. You do not need to be treated like a second class person.

Explain to him, it's hard enough supporting yourself. You can't afford to feed another mouth. He needs to get a job or get out.
