Yes, because dance can be any type of movement of the body. Dance isn't always what you expect...the typical girls in tutus. Not always the case. Modern dance is very unusal sometimes. Not very many people can appreciate it. If people didn't have an open mind, we would be doing the same type of dancing people did 100 years ago.

I do very much because I am a dancer and if I don't keep an open mind then I may not acheive my goal as quickly. I dance and that is all I can say. I have been dancing for 13 years now.

if its free style I'm not critical at all, If it is one person doing a solo, I'm a little more critical, and if its a group that is supposed to be together than I'm very critical (me being a slight perfectionist)
as for open minded, open minded about what? I'm open minded about their efforts and why certain mistakes were made....but what all is there to be open or close minded about?

yes, dance is an art form everyone has there own opinions. it's kind of like fashion. everyone has diffrent style.
