FOr world geography i need to answer this please help!!!
COmpare pop culture trends throughout the Unites States, how do they vary? What did you discover to be the motivation pushing these variances, and how do the relate to geographical influences in these areas?...this is what i have so far
West ciast: surfing...next to ocean
Florida(SE coast): Big soanish influence, by peurto rico

Midwest tends to conservative, farmers, a lot of German/ Dutch influence.
South slow paced, probably related to the dry heat.
West Coast is laid back, liberal probably related to the large number of artist/ actors/ Hollywood influences.
Florida has a large Hispanic influence, bright colors evident in the surroundings.
Texas has it's own culture, it sees itself as a separate entity from the rest of the country, as evidenced by it's motto"Don't mess with Texas".

Uraban regions of the country listen to rap. Rural regions listen to country. New England is influenced with the ski industry because of the Appalachian Mountains. Southerners enjoy spicy foods because spices preserve food in hot climates. Midwestern regions enjoy 4-H or State Fair festivals because it supports the local economy of farming and dairy.
