I am planning a special night for my love, complete with candles everywhere, rose petals, scented oils, etc. The only thing I cant figure out the best way to go with is Music. She is a huge music person, heard of everyone, listened to everything kinda woman. So I need to pick out some very special songs.

This isnt going to be a hard core type night, it is going to be soft and loving, so if you are going to contribute, please keep that in mind. Any and all recommendations would be appreciated. The genre doesnt matter so long as it fits the mood, so Classical, Opera, Oldies, Modern Pop, R&B, whatever.

Thank you!

I agree with whoever said The Moody Blues. It just goes. PB & J style. And to whoever said Paris Hilton and Christina Aguilara...the Paris Hilton CD is God awful and Christina Aguilara is not only bad, but Hurt really doesn't work. You're trying to celebrate togetherness, not being hurt and breaking up and all that mish mosh.

But here is my sincere suggestion to you, my good sir. Find a song by your girl's favorite band that fits the moment. Thats the double whammy. Sets the moment and shows that you care enough to know something about her musical taste, which should mean a lot to her if she is as big of a music buff as you say she is. Good luck champ.

I'm a woman and I think Jazz is sexy. I'll bet she will too. Easy, instrumental Jazz...not the down in the dumps stuff. Go for something modern...after 1970!

My opinion only, go listen to some and see what you think. Jazz just seems sexy to me.

There's always 'Bolero' from the movie "10".
Not for everyday, but, 'I'll Make Love to You' by Boyz II Men can be quite romantic...
