I find this question pretty ignorant but straight out: most Asians listen to most kinds of music. I'm Asian and I listen to non-mainstream rap, meaning not the kind you hear on the radio, but artists that are "underground" (e.g. those signed with Def Jux like Aesop Rock, Mr. Lif, C-Rayz Walz, or even Sage Francis, De La Soul, Andre Nickatina, etc.)

And, hate is a pretty strong word... what makes you "hate" rap or "ghetto music"? Many songs have either good beats or great lyrics, and if you're lucky, you'll find one with both.

i listen to some but i'm into house/dance/techno.
Currently listening to some old Rage Against The Machine. I know it isn't what I said earlier but I like a good variety.

Music overseas in Japan and Korea are heavy into rap. It's kind of funny to listen to Korean rap
