Okay, i have a phobia of cotton balls. I cant stand them! I mean,,,they squeak, and i cant stand the way they feel! My friends for the most part are understanding of my fear...but sumtimes they are mean and chase me around with cotton. even tho im popular...people at school think im weird becus of my phobia! Am i the only freak in this world with a cotton-ball phobia???

okay, so i hate them too. I hate touching them, and i defenitly know what your talking about. but i dont think i'm as bad as you! i dont have to run away with them. but its cool, makes you unique i guess...

Your not alone at all! I know two people who are totally freaked out by cotton balls! One girl lived in my dorm and I admit I chased her around the room w/some cotton balls one night after coming back from the student pub! Another was a lovely friend I made in Scotland! I lived w/her for a couple months or so! She asked me to keep my cotton balls out of the bathroom!
While I don't understand it...everyone is entitle to be different! I just wonder if it predominantly affects women...hmm...

I totally understand!! The sound of cotton balls squeaking is like nails on a chalk board to me. And if that makes ya a freak, well then I'm a freak with ya!

I have had a few friends with the same thing. They could not stand the sound of someone pulling a cotton ball apart. They would not even touch them. Your not alone.

My sister-in-law used to be scared of cotton balls when she was younger her mom put them on the steps to keep her from climbing on them when she was real young. Many people have "weird" phobias.

nope a woman I knew years ago had the same phobia- she couldn't even open medicine bottles because of the wad of cotton in the tops of them (glad a lot of over the counter meds don't have that now) so nope, you are not the only one and you are not a freak
