I have cams but do not know anything more than that.

You might want to check out StickerCam... it can make webcam a little more fun and personal... allowing animated stickers and borders, you can even record the webcams if you use Yahoo Messenger if you want.. its great fun to use:

Connect it to the USB port as it shows in the directions and then just put it on top of your pc pointed forward. You can turn it on and then activate the program that came with it and watch it as you are taking the pictures. It works like a movie camera. As long as you are in front of it it will take your action pictures.

- First you have to sign-up for an email ( which usually included instant message for chatting) like yahoo, hotmail, aol, and so on.
- install one of the instant message program (in this case you can use yahoo yahoo!instant messager at http://messenger.yahoo.com/ because you've already owned an account of yahoo)
- install your webcam's driver
- log-in to your account
and chat with webcam
