and which is the worst in your experience and why, I'm tired of my satellite service, have had Dish Network & Direct TV. should I get cable through the regular company or through a phone company, any ideas or suggestions? Also, bill keeps going up and up with Satellite. Thanks

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with satellite.
I was unable to try any dish service because of line-o-sight issues, so I opted for cable. I can't complain -- I get Colbert Report twice a night, and for some reason, they've given me HBO for free. Real Time for all!
If you have HD, there is a consideration to which provider would make sense. But from what I've heard, no company has been outstanding when it comes to HD programming. With cable my bill stays the same and install was free.
You could try calling your cable provider's promotions dept., test out the service for 6 mos. I've reconnected a few times with my cable operator after moving, and always get the promotion de jour.

Forget about watching satelite shows on your tv...It is not as comfy as watching it in the comfort in your air com room with a laptop.I have bought this software to watch satelite shows on my laptop and it is definietly better than watching satelite tv shows in my hall...I have both satelite tv box and the software to watch satelite tv shows on my laptop and now i dont even use my tv because i use my laptop...trust me this software is the bomb cos there's about 3000 channels for you to choose and no need to fight over which channels your family wants to watch...you can watch your favourite shows that the local satelite service provider wont even supply !!you can ask me for any questions and oh ya...except for paying for the software,there is no more charges!!unlike satelite box for tv..well god bless

cable is cheaper and you get almost as many channels... i guess it depends on your local provider though
