My old man and mom say the foundation to any marriage is that which puts God in it. I think this is true in a manner of speaking. My parents have in my opinion had a very healthy relationship and still mentor us. God is the their reason for why it works.

Yes!Put your trust in GOD;you are to trust god on all things. It will be better when you let GOD work on you first. No! My unsaved mate and I don't go to church together. But until he finds a true relationship with GOD. I will carry the spiritual weight of the relationship.
The men are the head of the women and we are to make them king of the leadership in the relationship,as GOD has made it so.
Hope that this bless you with the wisdom you are looking for!

No, not really. I'm Pagan/Wiccan, he's Agnostic, so our spiritual beliefs don't have a lot of overlap in our relationship. We're respectful of each others' beliefs, though - it's not like either of us is trying to convert or condemn the other for not thinking the same way.
He's asked some questions about my beliefs and practices, and he knows that the door is open if he wants to watch or participate in any of my rituals (which would be like "going to church together").
My beliefs in the God and Goddess provide me with comfort and solace, so in that respect they are strengthening to me as a person - and by extension they are strengthening to my marriage.

I feel like my fiance trusts me wholeheartedly. She is catholic and attends church. I wasn't raised going to church so I don't feel like I need to go to church, but I go with her every once in awhile, my show of support. I don't need to find anything for me, I've grown up with this lifestyle and I am content. My fiance has grown up with her faith and I am content with her lifestyle. We say yes to kids and I accept to have them raised Catholic. I trust my fiance as well and our relationship is better because we fit well in just about all areas.

My relationship is good because my husband and I make it that way. We do not go to church together, because he is catholic and I am not. I am not a religious person, but very spiritual.

I tend to believe that its the other way around. Love is God. I think the more you love and trust somebody, the more you will love God. Life is a reflection of your own triumphs and afflictions. Love begets more love.
