No. Freedom to express yourself. We have dress codes for inappropriate clothing.

Well here in Ireland both private and state schools uniforms are compulsory. I think it good Idea firstly you can't tell the rich kids for the poor ones. Secondly it doesn't put presure on parents to buy the lastest trend i.e runners etc. Children trying to keep up with there peers in the latest fashions etc. And third it looks smart uniforms. I have wore a uniform since the age for four till I was eighteen at school.

i really don't think uniform are going to stop any violence in school i really think schools are just coping each other i feel if the students have to be in uniform so shall the teachers or all female teachers shoul have to follow the dress code and males needs to suit and tie

not sure what you mean by compolicy, compulsory maybe? I think that it is just another added expense, if they actually taught and kept the kids thinking there wouldnt be the excuse that clothing styles were distracting. Are you arguing for it or against?
