It all depends on what your definition is of a liar, as well as the person you are talking to.

Ah, a mild variation of the Cretan liar paradox.

R. Smullyan, the logician, has examined this type of question over the years. If I remember correctly, you could be lying if you said you were lying if you mistakenly believed that you were a liar.

How would I know? You just told me you were a liar.

This is one of those impossible questions. If you are a liar who said, I am a liar, that means that what you really meant was you aren't a lier, which is impossible if you are a liar.

If it's true that you are a liar, then you are telling the truth. Would I trust you after that info? No.

Hi,

In this case. I think you have possibility lie me. but maybe you still have some side in your heart that you really not meant if lie to me. that's why sometimes a peson will tell that I'm a liar dont believe me anyway. since maybe you are falling in love or you feel regret if you lie to that person.

That's my opinion, since in some moment I feel that too. and I will said that.

Cheers!!

Not necessarily, but what you would be is unreliable. Which is the real solution to the classic liars' paradox.

Behind every lie, there's a reason not to tell the truth.
