I'm thinking metal, but not all out,instrumental and melodic tunes. I play the piano and sing, songs like evanecence or nightwish, but ofcourse with our own taste of style. I dont know, I used to be in a band andnow I'm a bit down at the fact that I'm not anymore and am just experimenting I suppose. Live around 30 minutes away from Philly. Anyone interested?

If I was in PA or you were in TN, I would be very interested. I'm 53 years of age now. I started doing hard rock in the very late 60's and continued until those type bands were breaking up. Started in the 'country' music scene in '81 and got bored as hell.
Now I just go to a local 'beer joint' and pick guitar and bass guitar with an old friend that has written hundreds of songs. Some are very, very good ones, some aren't, but at least they're original.
I wanting to move into jazz, kinda rockish jazz, along with some very cool instrumentals not unlike yourself.
I don't have the means to record my parts, send them to you for recording your parts ( we've never even met ) but that has been happening for a long time now, even in the 'analog' age.
Good luck and play alone if you have to, that's what I do. I think I'd go crazy if I didn't have this 'pressure valve' to relieve frustrations.
