i need costumes ideas for cheap or something that i could make for my pet rat.HELP ME.....PLEASE!

Awwwwwwwwww! A rattie in costume! I bought some scrunchies and put about four or five briightly colored ones on my girls! They were clowns! My girls just would bite on them or take them off! I tried to put one in a doll dress I crocheted and she was adorable but chewed on it. I just think ratties are the best pets in the whole world! Anyone who doesn't like a rattie never had one! Ratties are like potato chips...you can't have just one!

I am not very good at sewing, but someone else made some and sold them online. I got a wizard costume (a purple pointed hat and a purple cape) a cowboy/cowgirl costume (straw hat and a bandana) and a elf costume (small red cape and a little red hat). They looked pretty easy to create using some felt and some elastic (like the stuff that goes inside the waist of stretchy pants) to hold the hat on. Just make sure it isn't too tight. My boys always pull theirs off. LOL

a rat in a costume would be really cute but it is not a good idea because rats like to eat everything, and if he eats even a little of the costume, he could die a very painful death when his intestines get blocked up and twist over.
maybe somebody could help you take a quick picture so you can watch him to make sure he doens't chew the costume, and then take it off of him immediately.

we have two female rats, and for Halloween we are doing them up as hula rats. We went to the craft store and bought some thin wire from the jewelry making section, we got some raffia and some tiny craft flowers. I took the raffia and wire and made the hula skirts, same with the flowers for a lei. Hope this helps! And for all the people that says rats are dirty or gross, Have you ever owned a rat? They are actually very clean and highly intelligent.

You could always make a black cloak with a hood and a little scythe so that they could be the death of rats from the discworld series by terry pratchett.
Whatever you decide on, they will chew it, but its unlikely that they'll eat it.

We;;, you could always put a mini cape on it and say it's Ratticor, but i recommend that you leave off pet clothing. Pets aren't meant to wear things, otherwise they wouldn't have fur.

a gown that small could be perplexing yet I incredibly have some recommendations. a million. Your rat could desire to pass as an elephant-because of the fact an elephants vast and a rats small (duh) itd be notably cool. it may be perplexing to make, basically concentration on the trunk 2.it may desire to pass as something notably ordinary like a dinosaur or great hero.
