I also like the name Roux for a boy's first name, but can't think of a good middle name.

Riley--I like it mostly because it can be for a male or female
I dont like it paired with John. Riley has a nice sound to it, but John just sounds soooo FLAT!
Alexis-- is beautiful by its self, I think following it with Rose kinda takes away how beautiful Alexis is.
You've picked great first names, but the middle names need some work. I would have two options until you give birth ( thats if it for your baby.) When your baby is in your arms you'll know what completes her. best wishes and good luck

I like both, but Alexis Rose is especially beautiful. The Roux makes me think of cooking, so unless the child is going to be a famous chef....I don't know if I could choose that one. Have a great night!

what about John Riley instead of the other way....i like the sound of it better...
i like the name Roux too but it is hard to think of a middle name to go with it...what about Amadeus?

I have two children and some tell me their names are unusual or orginal. Ivy Tatum and Alec Thanh. I loved the name Riley when I was pregnant with Ivy and Alexis was one of my favorites growing up. It basically what makes you happy. Sometimes we think of baby names and then see our babies and realize the name is all wrong. Go with them. They're beautiful.

I love the names you picked. If I have a girl we were planning to name her Johnna Rose but switched it to Johnna Shirllen and if it's a boy his name will be James William. Hubby's name is John William incase you were wondering why I'm fond of that name! lol I know Shirllen is different but both of our mom's passed away so we wanted to name the girl after them (my mom is Shirley, his mom is Ellen.
