How many nuclear divisions are there in meiosis?

There are 4 stages or steps: Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telephase. But specific to your question, the nucleus only divides once, going from X number of chromosomes to 2X chromosomes. It is the process by which all cell other than sex cells are made. (Meiosis is the process that has two nuclear divisions. This is how sex cells are made)

mitosis: just one.

meiosis: three... a parent to 2 daughter cells, and the 2 daughter divide into 4.
