Probably the fan control and not the limit switch. Depending on type you have fan on at 140 deg, fan off at 100 deg. These are ajustable for your comfort so not to blow cool air from registers. Limit is usually fixed at 200 deg. (All deg. in F.) Check thermostat to make sure fan switch is not turned to "On" instead of "Auto" if heating and cooling type. Also some fan controls have a "Fan on" button located on the fan control itself on the furnace. Be sure that it's not switched on by accident.

It all depends? the limit switch does'nt change settings on its own, so its likley faulty, if you have a standard wall thermastat control i would start there, thats where i would begin especially if its still heating while running.if not its the limit switch
