i have a knife that has rust on it. is there any way i can get it off?

use Polish, or stuff that takes rust off....i herd that coke takes it off but i never tried it you could also take a grinder with sandpaper on it and grind it off but only if its something that old,if its a car that you love then i wouldn't do it,i would use the Polish but that should help.

the wonder cleaner, advanage....I am not a sales person, but this stuff took the rust stains out of everything, my driveway, my tub, and my chrome, it's great and non-toxic so you don't choke on the fumes! You can get it on ebay, or go to www.advanage.com I have the green apple stuff and it is great, I haven't tried the other kinds, but I am sure they work just as well!

An easy and cheap way to clean chrome....or steel that has rust is with a crumbled up piece of aluminum foil.....brillo soap pads also work well...and also extra fine steel wool ..hope that helps

try this use a shapening stone and plane water rub the knife and remove the rust. or try spraying wd40 to the knife and use metal sandpaper the finest guage100 to remove the rust.

Hello. You can grind the rust or treat it with acid. In both cases, put a rust proof primer afterward.

clean it and then use a brio pad on it or steel wool the apply some lite oil or wd40 or something or just keep it away from any moisteror spray some or put some oil on a paper towel or paper and wrap it in that til you plan to use again

Buy some gun compound at Walmart.It seems to work on my guns.I think the name of it is Hoppis

use a steal wool pad, it won't scratch you knife.
