*Smile* I used to have two of them as pets..they are great....yeah it might help to have something that they can walk out on...but i used to get little minnows or some kind of small cheap fish..they'll eat any fish though so be very careful of your gold fish....i had a bluegill in with mine and it dies within the first day i got it...and yeah it is normal for them to build a shelter...if you were to watch them in the river you will see that that is where they will come out from..and there are sites that you can go to that will tell you more or you can email me and ask me anything and i will try to help in any way that i can

you need to go find it a mate and they like to live in the dirt on the bottom of the tank or under a rock. it would be nice if you had a place above water for him to visit when he wants to. they wilol eat gold fish food that is left to fall on the bottom of the tank.

Yes, they're delicious with salt and butter! But seriously, what do crawfish eat? A crawfish's favorite food is soft, decomposing plant matter; however, they will eat just about anything – algae, snails, insects, plants, dead fish, etc. Crawfish are cannibals and will even consume other crawfish that are molting.
