We've been trying to get pregnant since August. The only 2 signs I have is missed periods and very sore swollen breast. Has any body else ever had signs like this???

hi hun, there could be a couple of things wrong,
1, stress can cause periods to stop. I stressed out when trying to conceive.
2.There is not enough hcg (the hormone which detects pregnancy) in your urine.
how often are you testing leave it a week in between testing or you could be wasting your money. Or go to the dr as they can do a quick blood test and find out that way. Hope you get it sorted out though huni and get the results you want.

There's always the possibility you could be pregnant, but do you have irregular periods? I did, and had to get on birth control to regulate them. I did have very sore breasts in the beginning of my pregnancy. Other signs I had were nausea, stuffy nose throughout the entire pregnancy, hard stomach (if you push on it, it feels really hard), smells really got to me- like seafoods, alcohol, smoke, coffee, etc. So see if any of those happen. you should prob also go to the gyno if your periods are regular, just so they can take a look to make sure everything is ok.

Hope this helps!

I think you are obsessing too much about having a baby. You have to relax and not stress yourself out. If you are always worried about it and stressing out the it won't happen. It will happen eventually. Consult a doctor. Swollen breasts and a missed period are signs of pregnancy so your pregnancy test should be positive. Definitely see a doctor and have them do a blood test.

You might have a thyroid problem. Are you over-exercising? Have you gained or lost alot of weight lately? Sometimes the stress of trying to get pregnant can prevent you from getting it. Nonetheless, this is not the place for an answer. You need to see a doctor asap.

You could be pregnant but you may have low hormone levels and the tests you buy at the store can't detect the really low levels so go to your doctor and have a blood test-that will tell you for sure.

Go to the doctor and get a blood test first, then if you're really not pregnant, the doctor can tell you what the problem is

sometimes if you have been sick (like the flu or a really bad cold) that will make you skip periods.. if you have just come off birth control (depo-vera) that will make you have REALLY abnormal periods.... ah.... and if you are young ( i dont know how old you are) and just started your period for the first time less then a year or so ago, that is normal. once i started my period (i think it was like 5-6 months into it) i stopped having my period for 5 months.. when in doubt go to the doctor :)

You should absolutely get in to see your OB/GYN asap! Blood tests will be done....
Maybe look at Web MD in the mean time.
Best Wishes,
J

go have a blood test done you may not have enough pregnancy hormones in your urine to get a postive test, if your not pregnant it may be a hormone inbalance
