Okay i need help on this problem..Gloria's room is 12 feet long and 15 feet wide.What is the area of Gloria's room?the perimeter?

Perimeter is just the distance around an area and in the case of a room with 4 walls, you just add the lengths of the sides and multiply by 2, because you have two sides of each size. P = 2 * (12+15) = 54

The area is just the length of the two multiplied. A = 12*15 = 180

perimeters are easy, just add up the 4 sides, 12+ 12+ 15+ 15= 54

12 x 15= 180 feet.. thats the area
im guessing her room is a rectange.. although you didnt tell us..
perimeter= 12+12+15+15 or 54 feet

Area: A=12x15=180.00 Square feet

Perimeter: P=(2x12)+(2x15)= 24+30= 54 lineal feet

o.k. this is all you do if Gloria's room is 12 feet long just add to

area = 180ft.
perimeter = 54ft.
