I usually start my my period at the end of the month (around the 20s) I havent started it yet and its the 17. Even though in not suppose to start it for maybe a few more days, I feel like i havent had my period in a while. Im beginning to think that thats maybe because I started it earlier last month. could that have just been an irregular period? my boyfriend and i have had sex but we use a condom with spermicide everytime and check it carefully after, since im not on birth control. when i began to worry and took one of the preganancy tests that tells you 5 days before your missed period. i took like 3 of them and they were all negative. could i just be worrying too much or could i be pregnant?
thanks

SERIOUSLY! stressing about it will put off your period big time! I would start to be curious a week or even two past the due date. I know it's easier done than said. But I think every girl has done it to herself more than just once! If you been stressed and not keeping in the same routine of sleep and health patterns and on top of that are freaking out that you might be 'LATE' you'll throw your cycle off for sure! Give yourself a break and rest...mentally and physically. Only after this will your body let you know, and when the time comes...then you can deal w/it at your will. Those test are pretty darn accurate...so I would just try and not think about it. Do yourself a favor and avoid all babies...and just go for the chocolate and Mac n' Cheese like your having your normal PMS time!

Hey sweetie. First of all it dosen't sound like you are late for your period. It sounds like you are extremely nervous and it is possible that this will delay your minstral. Today, pregnancy test are so accurate that it is amazing. I've been in your shoes to many times to mention. I have 4 unplanned kids. I really do think that your safe this time. Please concider getting on the pill. It's not worth it if you are not married. I've been there too; at the age of 16 and I am 36 today. If any thing remember this: Never have sex the 13, 14, 15, and 16 day after your period is done. Those are the days that you can be ovulating. Don't even trust a condom. My guess is that you are young and very furtel. Be careful girl. A baby will change the next 20 years of your life and half the time the fathers aren't around for any type of help. You're not late. You say you use the condom correctly every time and check it. It sounds like you're wasting your money on those tests. You may feel like you haven't had your period in a while, but perhaps that's because you're bloated and about to get it. If the calendar says you're not late, don't worry.

Unless you should worry.

If you worry it can delay your period too. Been there, done that. Dont rely on supermarket tests, go to Planned Parenthood. And please try to get on birth control pill. You wont regret it
