Chili (or other soup) is always yummy on cold days. Layers of clothing... sweatshirts, socks, slippers, etc. Move as much as possible, or pile on the blankets if you're snuggling up watching tv or reading... having kitties or puppies help as well (extra body heat to snuggle up to!)

Hot chocolate, like others are saying! :-)

I adore sweat suits in the winter. comfy and warm. Also silk long underwear is great under regular clothes. Ceramic heaters work well as do other space heaters. I love to have the house around 68 degrees and to dress warmly. I love a cold bedroom and sleep so well when it's cold. The cats hate winter and are always piled in a heap to utilize the body heat of their siblings. Hope this helps. Thoughts of Christmas and family and friends always warms my heart.....

Don't skip meals. (Calories are a measurement of heat in food) I always feel warmer after I eat. Wear thermal underwear and wool socks.
Don't stand too close to fires or space heaters, you can toast your skin

If your windows are letting cold air , you can go to wal mart and get this clear plastic to go over them. You can see thru it and it doesn't even look like you have anything over it. You just stick it up with the tape that comes with it and then blow dry the wrinkles out.

Drink hot chocolate with miniature marshmallows and snuggle up with someone in front of a fireplace - now that's cozy
