Troy Smith is probaly the best QB out of Ohio State but, will he be able to warm a bench like Krenzel in the big leagues that's another story Troy Smith will not be a starter in the NFL but, College Quarterback yes he's pretty good

I think we produced "good" qb's that fit well into the system, i.e Bobby Hoying and Craig Krenzel. Rex Kern was another really good qb won our last national championship in 1968 prior to 2002. Being that we were often known as "3 yards and a cloud of dust", the qb position was not the glamour position. He is the best by far only other person close would be Arty Scleshter.

I am so sick of people hating on OSU! Let us have our moment... GOSH! And you are right, Troy Smith is definately the best quarterback that OSU has ever had not to take away from Craig because I loved him too...

He quite possibly is, but another good quarterback was Bobby Hoying, a National Merit Scholar who combined good physical skills at that position with "heady" play.

it's a toss up between Troy Smith and Vince Young. they are both as great, and Troy Smith will be remembered as Ohio States best QB and he will go very far in his professional career and i will follow him in his career and I am sure he will do great.
