This is your life if you can't keep track of it don't ask others to help you.

You mean you don't KNOW if you have a felony record? That is difficult to believe.

Most states have laws that take away voting rights from people with felony convictions for some limited period of time. A few states permanently bar people from the polls based on past convictions, but in most places people are supposed to be able to vote again at some point. It might be after getting out of prison or upon finishing parole. But often lack of information, confusion and illegal election practices prevent people with felony convictions from registering to vote, even after they have again become eligible under their state’s laws.

were you ever arrested and convicted of a felony? if so you have a felony. the voters registration people are so screwed up that the have stopped checking i know of a few different people that have felonies and they vote. they also get called for jury duty. once they get their they get disqualified but the fact remains that mistakes in administration happen all the time. if you really want to find out pay one of those Internet companies to run a background check on you. if you have a felony it will show up.

Have you been to prison/jail for more than a year? Were you involved in plea bargaining? How can you NOT know whether or not you have a felony? I'd guess that would be a milestone in one's life. Perhaps you should call the felony fairy and see if she has the answer!!!

Trust me, they would have told if you were guilty of a felony. Unless you were in a coma for a year, you should know too. You could contact your states police dept and they should be able to let you know.
