This is kind of strange sounding, but I know that some fraternities use dish soap to make foam for "foam parties"... basically they make a LOT of bubbles and fill the dance floor with them.

Pretreat oily/greasy stains in laundry- as well as carpet (mentioned earlier).
I have heard that DAWN kills fleas- but have never tried it.
I have some wasp/ bee traps that attract bees and wasps with a fruit juice or soda. You add dish soap to the juice so it coats their wings and they cannot fly back out of the trap.

I know for a fact Dawn dishsoap is what Stanley Steamers users to pretreat stains in Carpet. I asked the dude what he was using and he said Dawn dishsoap. Nothing fancy there

i use liquid dishwasher detergent to clean my sinks .it works better than any other product.i found this out by drippinmg some in my sink 1 day and the spot were it dripped turned white so i washed the whole sink with it.it was sparkling afterwards

It can be a good lubricant.
Put on wood screws to make them easier to install.
Helps for sliding handlebar grips on a bicycle.
