I talked to this person at one time but I don't wish to receive emails anymore. How can I make it so I don't get any more emails that are generated to send to their whole address book.

Next time you receive his/her email, mark the message, click "spam" you'll never see them again. Sure, you can report it as spam even if it's presonal e-mail address. Any unsolicited e-mail is spam.

That is awful Gartom - is nowhere safe these days? They could contact customer care in Yahoo Answers and also send a copy of the emails, using the headers so that they can trace who is sending the emails. They can get the headers by going into the 'option' button at the side of their email box and then click on 'header' - this will automatically put the header on the emails if they have been kept in the inbox. Hope they get it sorted out as that is not nice at all and would put anyone off of being on Y/A.

There are several approaches, the simplest would be to create a rule to delete automatically (Outlook) or report as SPAM from your provider such as Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc.
