i had a friend like that

if she really is overdramatic and bothers u with her problems,
then let her go

i was sad to do it, but i had to leave her, she was controlling my life

ANd im glad to say we both r happy now

If u still want to be her friend, then talk to her and tell her that u cannot help her with these problems and could u guys talk about something else!

Well, if she is a "good" friend, she will accept constructive criticism. Just say something like "hey Beth..I don't mean to be rude or anything, but do you realize that your life could be like a soap opera?", "I mean, what's up with the drama queen bit? why don't you tone it down a notch, just chill for awhile, ya know? Cuz if you don't...i'm gonna slip you some tranquilizers!!". Then laugh....maybe that'll break the ice.

tell her she "sounds" like a whore. That will get her to shut up or at least keep her crushes to herself. It's true women or Young lady's should not be female pigs.....

Part of being a good friend is being there to listen when your friend needs you . . . but part of being a good friend is also encouraging your friend to grow and act in a mature manner.
