I'm not talking about institutionalized racism (only white people can be institutionally racist) but in general, what racial groups, or even specific ethnic groups have you seen in America that are particularly racist?

As a group, whites. Whites have a long cultural history of valuing white skin above dark skin and that still comes through in lots of ways in our society.

Most whites today try not to behave in a demonstrably racist manner, but because most exist in predominantly white environments, they don't experience race every day in the way non-whites do. So they're often insensitive to how their behavior comes across as racist.

Also, frankly, I think many whites avoid the kind of introspection that would reduce racial hostility in society because they know that they are the beneficiaries of lots of unspoken racial privilege that would be difficult to defend if it was acknowledged.

On an individual level, race tells you little if anything about who will behave in a racist manner. That's just a question of individual character.

I say that Caucasians are because they seem to stereo type people more. R.E.D is a prime example, blacks and Hispanics are not the only ones who have gangs and what does he mean and all that? My family moved into a predominately white area and they were surprised that my husband and I were not at all like the had perceived us. We take pride in our home, our children are well mannered, well behaved and intelligent, we are a hard working middle class family. And a few have gone as far as to come out and say "We had the wrong idea about you. You guys are alright". I say that if people took the time to get to know the individual and didn't judge people by the color of their skin that they may be surprised what they find. Don't go on what you see in the media because if I did I would think that all white people were deranged serial killers or something of that nature, but I realize that there are good and bad people of every race and I judge everyone individually.

Racism is just a really stupid and iggnorant way to take your problems out on someone else. If not, then you`re a complete moron, because if you think being born in a certain country or having a certain skin color makes you better then someone else, your completely wrong. Think about it. Every race of people bleed, they`re born and they die. Americans aren`t going to survive a car crash because they`re Americans and Hispanics aren`t going to survive a bombing because they`re Hispanic. It can`t be explained by anything but pointless hatred.
I can`t point out a specific race, because there are people stupid enough to be racist in every race. Its really stupid, and some people really seem to believe it. They think that Japanese are geniuses in comparison to Americans. They do seem to excel more in education, but that has nothing to do with race, it has to do with culture. Its the same for everything else. We`re all different (I think we learned this one in, what? First Grade?) but that doesn`t make us any greater or less than anyone else. What makes the difference is how we`re raised.

I don't know what to tell you.
If white people aren't at the top then I don't know who.
Everyone should know by now that a man of the same color as you does not mean he can not be racist like another not of your color.
The word cracker(in it's slur form) was not made by black people but by rich white people last I heard. I also take offense to the n-word. Just b/c you are black, it does not make it OK to say it. endearment my butt.

If you take offense to any one saying a slur then no one should say the slur.
racism is racism even if you are in the same racist and doing it.

Affirmative Action is institutionalized racism. and it doesn't benefit whites.
Mexicans are the most racist with the American G I Forum only slightly ahead of LULAC and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

It depends on which side that you're on. I hear my black friends bash other blacks more than anybody else. As goes for my latino friends and caucasian counterparts. Blacks discriminate amongst themselves while you may encounter a Puerto Rican that's looks down upon El Salvadorians (or vice versa). Some Christian whites may discriminate against Jews or vice versa.

The group most racist ,of course, are the UN-educated. Be it black, white, Asian, Latino,or Mayan the people who know & care the least about each other. plus have little knowledge of the other's race or customs can be the biggest bigots of all.

The most bigoted and ignorant peoples I have come across in this lifetime are white people.

I've been around for a while and seen a lot of stuff go down, but the most hateful and cruel have always been the whites.
