My truck starts to stutter when I am going aboout 55-60 mph. It will respond if I press the gas peddle, but when I am just cruising at the mentioned speed, my truck starts to stutter.

Sounds like an injector is bad. Or the fuel filter needs to be changed.

First of all, I wish you Good Luck in finding someone who could fix this. I worked at a Ford dealership in 2002 when these trucks came out. We had many customers reporting the same problem. I drove several myself and could never make them act this way. One mechanic in our shop diagnosed a bad processor and replaced it. The customer never returned with the same complaint. However, changing the processor in other trucks did not fix the symptom. Good Luck.
