2x(3x+4)=0 The product of two terms or numbers cannot be zero if one of them is not zero. Therefore,either 2x=0 or 3x+4=0 If 2x=0,then x=0 .If 3x+4=0,then x= - 4/3 Therefore x=0 or -4/3

If you multiply the expression you get:

2x(3x+4) = 0

6x^2+8x = 0

If you solve for x, then

2x = 0

And 3x + 4 = 0

So x = 0

and x = -4/3
