I'm taking my partner away for his 21st birthday & we are leaving tomorrow. I know I can't make it stop for tomorrow. Is there a way to make it lighter so we can nookie? ;P I'm already using tampons.
Any tips from anyone? Or positive experiences on how they managed theirs?

I'm already on birth control pills, I can't really skip it because it's already started (yesterday) so I'm into my second day.

Put hot water bottle on belly. Let it flow naturally.
And nookie ought to come natural with or without periods.

Hormonal birth control limits your options because it suppresses your cycles so not as easy to override them, but you can use the same methods as you'd use for inducing your period – parsley tea is the easiest way, but you could also try other methods such as uping your vitamin C intake, pennyroyal, or dong qui.

You don't need to make it lighter for sex, just have sex in the shower or bath, put a towel down or use menstrual methods that would allow for mess-free sex such as sponges, soft tampons, diaphragms or softcups that will stop the blood coming out and allow for penetration – granted it may be a little late for some of these options now, but you'll know for next time. Try going to the likes of Wal-Mart's for softcups or health stores for sponges.

Take birth control pills, if you skip the last week of the pills and continue to the next thing of pills you wont have a period at all.

Just put a towel down and make a mess, that's what I've always done. There is no reason not to have sex while you have your period, other than mess. Just make sure you use some form of birth control. There's no way to stop your period until it is done its thing.

in case you prefer your pireod to end swifter you're able to do alot of workout like leaping jacks, tuck jumps, gymnastics splits, walking, working, some yoga strikes like status in a lunge for an prolonged time. Drink lots of water do some handstands and alot of leaping that's how my pirod have been given to 2 to 3days my pirod ends yet once you do no longer something and and purely take a seat and don't something your delight will quickly come to 4 to 5 days.

that's the worst huh...when we plan a trip, i do the calendar to make sure the red flag is not up in those wonderful days...but for some reason...it can still happen...there's really no way to stop ur period or make it go faster....but i guess, strenuos exercise can help, menstruation is sloughing off of that thickened lining of ur uterus....and it just becomes blood as we see it...but anyway...yeah exercise and sex seem to hasten the flow thus, finishing early..hope it works for you

Get your hands on some "Instead Menstrual Cups." They are worn kind of like a diaphram and catch the blood before it exits... You can safely and comfortably have sex with them in place and there is no mess.

Or, just do it in the shower.

Orgasms help your muscles contract and flush out the fluid. Masturbate in the shower.
