Why do men like boobs? I do not understand!?

It is a mystery to me.

If the obsession over boobs goes back to infancy, then I think that the majority of women would like boobs too. But honestly, a lot of us do not. I find them useless unless they are used for feeding your young.

Why are girls so confused by this? It's not a brain buster. Heterosexual men are most aroused by the parts of a woman that are UNIQUE to a WOMAN. It's what makes you different than us -- same goes for the vagina and delicate facial features. I've already got shoulders and feet, so why would I care about yours? (Admittedly, there are fetishes for everything.) That's it, short and sweet.

It's a mystery to me too, it might just be their instinct, apes are likely to calm down and be more social when show a pair of "boobs", or so I have been led to believe of what I learnt at a zoo. Or, it could be that because they never seen them it's an intriguing mystery to them, and they are curious. I think that it's been like that because it's evolved into us, if girls had shown off their boob's from day one guys wouldn't think much of them, but because they rarely get shown off it could lead to an obsession to them.

Also, at this point in history, we have been strongly conditioned by societal pressures to find large breasts attractive. A century ago, feminine perfection was embodied by pale-skinned women with large hips and small breasts. There is actually very little about sexual attraction that is "natural", other than its existence. All the details are determined by your environment.

Because they can be big, soft, and an automatic pillow for you, a baby, or a significant other. =P Not all men are attracted to women with big breasts though, a lot of men prefer slender women rather than someone with curves. I'm jealous of woman who have smaller bra sizes because they can show cleavage and look classy, but if I were to wear a low-cut shirt I'd look like a whore. <_<

Breasts are comforting. Big, soft love pillows soothing a man's desire to re-live his infancy. The security of being close to his mothers breasts, drinking milk from his mothers bosom. Everything is safe and nurturing. A man can hear the heartbeat of his mother close by when he sucks on a nipple.....

One theory is that it has to do with sexual selection. For example, chimps breast feed but none have large breasts. Our prehistoric ancestors mated from behind like most primates still do. During the evolution of our species we began mating face to face. For this reason, breasts evolved. To mimic the round posterior that males used to look at and associated with fertility.

Evolutionary reasons. Women with large breasts are seen as better able to support children. It is for this reason that men would select them, as they would prove to be better mothers and ensure children would live to adulthood.
