They are trying to monitor everything. However, how do you make sense of that much information? You cannot. Not without raising taxes. The more we participate in Yahoo! Answers, the more we blog, the more we reach out to each other, the less they can make sense of all of the data. So, yes, I agree with you: they are spying on us; they are trying to take away habeas corpus. However, there are too many of us and getting more of "them" would cost "us" money. (And they promised to cut taxes.) Could "they" (AKA "The Man") make sense of how spies used Shortwave radios?

No. It's George Soros who loves the Internet.

And only foreign terrorists and enemy combatants are losing the rights of Habeas Corpus, and they never were granted those rights in the first place.

However, your property can now be seized to build a Costco to increase sales tax revenue. That right you did actually lose...

I'm sure he is, we all better watch it. We no longer have the Freedom of Speech and the Right to a Trail by Jury. If you say something against Bush or how the U.S. is handling things, away you go to jail, instantly. There is no sense of the Constitution.

Is this somewhat reminiscent to anyone of Stalin, and The Purge?

How can anyone who comes into Yahoo Answers be called a spy. This is a public site and anyone can access it. Even Saddam Hussein if he so desired.

Of course they are. They monitor everything. They remind me of those little ole ladies that used to sit on party lines and listen in on their neighbors phone calls. We live in a police state these days just like Russia used to be get used to it or change it.

Ah! But things are not always what they seem, grasshopper! Do some deeper digging into how the government functions on all three levels, then contemplate this further. Proper meditation and drill is always required for proper civic discipline!

Isn't it amazing that no one stopped him from signing that bill?
Some fake cops should pretend to pick up rumsfeld or rove,
take them jail & Pretend they don't have a reason to give them.
What am I talking about? They Still wouldn't get it!!

Well, its helpers probably are, to find out what people in the United States and elsewhere are thinking.

What do you think they will gather from it?

Big Brother is watching you!
