It depends on where you are located and what you need to have done. For me, it can range from about $35 for a trim to over $100 for 4 shoes

it depends on the farrier that you use, the work being done, his availability, the area that you live in, how hard your horses are to work with. In my experience, the farriers that I have used, their availablity was not overbooked, i live in an area with many farriers specializing in many different types of work, and my horses are easy to work with, my trimming has never been more than $20 per horse. If you are requiring multiple services, then there can be a discount available per horse. One horse to be trimmed and shod with a hunter plate was $40. If we reused the shoes then it was $30. For a special type of trim and corrective shoeing on my mare, it was $50 and if shoes were reused, then it was $40. Find out what farriers are available, what they specialize in ( my farrier now specializes in gaited horses, my old farrier specialized in Show Ring Saddlebreds) and ask for references. Also ask how long these people have been doing business with him, what he is like toward the horses, what he is like toward his clients.
I might like to mention that my farrier was also a good family friend and my cousins and his sons all play football together.

Well it depends on if its just a trim or if its a full set of shoes.
Also it depends on the experience of the farrier.
I use a very experienced farrier, he's been shoeing my families horses for 20+ years, and he charges $40/trim, and $75/shoes.

Here in PA the person that boards ours takes them to an Amishman every 6 - 8 weeks. 45 for reset, 65 - 85 for new set, including borium, the knubs for traction.
Others that I've known that do house calls want 40 - 60 just to trim the hooves. 85 - 100 for a complete set of new shoes.

A trim will cost you about $30. Shoes can vary a lot depending on what type of horse and his purpose.
