ralph's answer is actually gnna cause you some problems. the alcohol makes the DNA come out of solution, so don't add that before the filter.

Mix the banana and water with the fork. Add the soap, mix gently. Run the solution through the coffee filter into the glass container.

This mixture has DNA in it. To make the DNA come out of solution (and purify it a little), you add the salt which destablizes/displaces the hydrogen bonds between the DNA and the water, then add the alcohol.

DNA is not soluble in alcohol, so after further mixing, it will coalesce into a snotty ball in the container, which you then spool out using the toothpick.

edit: upon further thought, you should add the salt after the soap, this will make the proteins come out of solution while leaving the DNA in solution, so when filtering you'll something that's sort of free of contaminents. Then add the alcohol and mix and spool the DNA out.

THis is NOT creation, it is extraction!!!!!!! Mix the banana with the fork and add the alcohol. Add the soad and water. Run through the filter into the container. The toothpick is to keep you occupieed while this occures. (maybe)
